About us  
Venues In Salford is the commercial catering team for Salford City Council and are looking for Casual Catering Assistants.

Salford City Council has undertaken a full review of it’s pay structure which will be implemented from 1 April 2023, the new hourly rate for this post will be £11.29 plus enhancements. If you would like any further information about the pay review please email PayReview@salford.gov.uk.

 

About you  
You will have great attention to detail and the adaptability required to perform a varied role. You will have a flexible approach, will embrace learning and adapt easily to change. You will be highly organised and able to work to deadlines.

About the role 
As a Casual Catering Assistant, you will be working alongside the Duty Manager in a hospitality environment. Main tasks will be serving meals for members of the public, council staff, councillors and general bar work whilst providing a safe and clean environment for customers, colleagues and partners.    
 
Our casual way of working gives you total flexibility to work the hours you choose when they are available. Catering Assistants will usually be required to work evenings and weekends. 
 
We endeavour to provide you with shifts on a month by month basis. If additional work becomes available these can be offered to you at short notice.
