Finance Officer - Accounts Receivable
Hours; 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, All year round

Salary: £25,119 to £26,873 per annum

About us
We are a busy accounts receivable team delivering an efficient and effective accounts receivable service to the city council and external customers. We work closely as a team to invoice and collect most of the non-tax debt due to the council from individuals and businesses. We provide information and support to our customers to recover money due to the council and support customers who are struggling to pay.
About you
Successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Have a strong team work ethic, with the willingness to get stuck in
- Are confident in dealing with people over the phone, on video calls and in person
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent administration and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable and flexible
- Able to use (and learn) how to use digital technology to meet the key outcomes of the role, including Finance software and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
