You must have experience of working in a homelessness team and a working knowledge of the homelessness legislation. Previous experience of working in a management role is desirable.

 
About the role
You will be responsible for the supervision and development of a team of Housing Options Advisors, working alongside two other Principal Officers, delivering a prevention focused Housing Options service.  
 
You will develop policies and procedures to support service delivery and support the Head of Service in the development and delivery of key strategic targets. You will be innovative and creative with trialling new ways of delivering a service that meets the needs of clients.
 
You will encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team, with all team members involved and responsible for taking the service forward.
