Grade: 2B, Scp 9 – 13, £16,746 - £17,915 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Hybrid working or Salford Civic Centre

An exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer has become available within our Place directorate, supporting the Neighbourhood Management Service.

As one of four Administration Officers supporting our neighbourhood areas, the successful candidate will work with the Neighbourhood Manager in developing and sustaining local partnership structures, joint working and service delivery.  The teams work with residents, elected members, community based organisation and a range of partner agencies to address the neighbourhood priorities. The team also manage a number devolved budgets, ensuring that they are allocated to priority projects.
 
This is a busy role and there is an expectation that the post holder is able to manage their own workload and yet work as part of a team, to ensure all the responsibilities of supporting the service are considered and acted upon within agreed timescales. This is a part-time, permanent position and there will be a requirement for some occasional evening working. 
 
The successful candidate will have minute-taking skills, together with a proven administrative background.
 
Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they meet the following necessary requirements of the post in order to be shortlisted for interview:-
 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Possess ability to work under pressure and show flexibility in order to meet the needs of the service.
Excellent organisational skills including the ability to manage your own workload and meet tight deadlines.
Possess a good understanding of the concept of positive team working and able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with the teams and partner organisations.
Excellent customer care skills.
Experience in Microsoft packages and ability to learn new databases.
Excellent minute taking skills
