Springwood Primary School is a large Special School (340 pupils aged 4 – 11), which caters for pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs across three sites. Due to the continuing expansion of our school, we are looking to appoint a number of enthusiastic, dedicated and flexible teachers who can inspire our pupils to reach their potential.
Springwood Primary School is part of the LINK Education Trust. The LINK Education Trust is a Salford centric trust comprising of six primary schools located within the city of Salford.
The successful candidate needs to be confident working across a range of ability levels and age groups. They will be teaching pupils who have a range of complex learning needs. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large energetic school and be part of its future development.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Can demonstrate excellent teaching skills with different age groups and ability ranges of pupils;
- Creates a stimulating organised and interactive learning environment that encourages each child to learn;
- Is able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of a wide range of additional needs including complex medical needs;
- Supports the values and ethos of the school;
- Can develop positive working relationships with parents, carers and professionals.
