Finance Officer
Working Hours: 18.5 hours per week, term time only
Grade: 2A, £8,336 - £8,673
Contract Type: Fixed term to 31.08.2020

Springwood Primary School which is a large Primary Special School catering for up to 240 pupils with profound, complex and challenging needs over two sites, are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, organised and motivated person to be a Finance Officer to support the School Business Manager in the effective management of the schools financial administration.

The job role will include:
• Assisting the SBM in placing orders and invoices on FMS in accordance with agreed authorisation.
• Ensure goods/resources are ordered, delivered and signed for
• Filing of all finance documents
• The collection and administration of school income for dinners, visits etc.

The successful candidate will be expected to have:
• Strong administrative skills.
• Experience of using a wide range of ICT software including Excel, Word, FMS and SIMS.
• Good eye for detail
• Good arithmetic skills
• Team approach – ability to build effective working relationships.
