Teaching Assistant Level 2

Required from 5th September 2018


Grade: 2A Scp 17-19 £13'495 to £14'055
Working Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only  
Contract Type: 1 Year fixed term until 31.07.2019

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring person to join our highly motivated and talented staff team. You will initially provide classroom support in our Key Stage 2 (Juniors) classes, but would be expected to work with any age group in school, as required.

Duties would include general support within the classroom and supporting pupils with identified additional needs. All applicants should have the ability to work on their own initiative, being flexible to the childrens’ and class teacher’s needs. They should also have a caring nature and the ability to work as a team member. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Prior experience of working as a teaching assistant in a school setting would be desirable.
