Grade: 2C, £19,024 - £21,004 per annum + 10 inset days
Working Hours: 34.75 hours per week, Term-time only
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 3:45pm (Tuesday until 4:45pm)
Contract Type:  Permanent

Chatsworth Futures is seeking a dynamic and inspirational Employability and Transition Coordinator to join the team on our journey to success. This new role will involve working closely with the learners, staff, parents and external agencies to gain positive outcomes for our learners.

You will need to be committed, passionate, confident and emotionally intelligent. You will need a deep understanding of how people with learning difficulties learn and a practical knowledge of how to the get the very best, aspirational outcomes from them. You will need to be able to take a proactive approach to the role and maintain good knowledge and understanding of ongoing developments within relevant areas to your role.

As an outstanding practitioner you will have key areas of responsibility for the transition in and out of learners. You will work closely with the Vice Principal to develop and drive forward quality improvement standards across the college to support the enhancement of teaching and learning activity.

With a strong commitment to supporting the management of all operational aspects that relate to your role, you will have a full understanding of quality standards and a sound understanding of the current FE climate.

Chatsworth Futures has been through a challenging time after receiving an ‘inadequate’ outcome at our last Ofsted inspection back in January 2019. Since then, developments within our staff team has resulted in 2 very positive monitoring visits and we are delighted with the progress that we are making. These are exciting times and this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within a dynamic and innovative team, to further develop of our college.
