Hours: 36 hours per week, in accordance with the flexible working policy

Salford Safeguarding Adults Board is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults at risk. We are seeking to appoint an experienced practitioner who is highly motivated to support the development and co-ordination of the work of the SSAB and its multi-agency training.

This successful candidate will be able to evidence that they have a proven ability to:
• Facilitate development work across partner agencies to ensure delivery of the board’s action plan


• Support with the development of action plans, agendas and relevant documents for the board and it’s sub groups

• To support the Safeguarding Adults Review (SAR) process by collating single agency returns to create chronologies to go to the SAR panel and supporting workshops and events to disseminate identified learning.

• Work in partnership with agencies delivering services to adults at risk to support with areas such as policy development and single agency training

• Conduct training needs analysis across the partner agencies to identify key multi-agency training needs in relation to safeguarding adults

• Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate multi-agency Safeguarding Adults training courses and other learning activities.

• Commission multi-agency safeguarding adults training as outlined in the SSAB training strategy

• Organise multi-agency safeguarding adults training events as required

• Support the development of the boards WebPages and on-line newsletter
