Part of the Chatsworth Multi Academy Trust, Chatsworth Futures Specialist College is a special college learners aged 19 – 25 years located in Swinton, which serves young people with severe learning difficulties and autism, who live in the area.

Due to our continuing expansion an opportunity has arisen for a high quality, deeply committed Teaching Assistant to join our team. If you are dedicated to a career in special education and believe that every learner has the right to the highest quality provision, then we would love to hear from you. You will be joining a strong and highly skilled teaching support team and a forward thinking, innovative College which will provide further opportunities for your personal development and growth.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant, who is able to support learners with a broad range of special educational needs including autism and SLD.

The successful candidate will be:

• A dedicated and skilled professional with a clear learner-centred focus
• Aspirational and highly committed to improving the learning attainments and lives of learners with special educational needs including autism and SLD.
• Experience of working with leaners with special educational needs including autism and SLD, some of whom may display challenging behaviour
• A robust and resilient practitioner able to perform in a dynamic and challenging environment
