Casual Passenger Assistant
Grade: 1C, £10.29 per hour
Working Pattern: Casual, Term Time Only
Contract Type: Casual
Closing Date: 23rd of October

We are looking to recruit casual passenger assistants to join our team. You’ll be responsible for escorting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) from their homes to school or college. You will be responsible for ensuring their care, comfort and safety on the vehicle. This is a challenging role but one that is highly rewarding and fun.

You will be required to be available for work before and after school, on a casual basis, term time only. Casual staff are sometimes required at short notice, so it is beneficial for applicants to live in or near Salford as you will be required to make it to the Salford boundary, often early in the morning. The nature of the role allows flexibility to fit around your other commitments. Casual staff can progress to a permanent post as these become vacant, as permanent posts are filled by casual staff who wish to be considered.
