Lewis Street Primary School is a welcoming, vibrant and inclusive two form entry primary school in Salford. The school has an Executive Headteacher and works in partnership with Christ Church CE and Lark Hill Primary Schools.

The Governors, staff and children at Lewis Street Primary School wish to appoint an experienced and outstanding practitioner as Head of School. All children deserve the very best and we are looking for an ambitious and hard working professional with a passion for teaching and learning who is committed to our school values of EXCELLENCE; RESPECT; CHALLENGE and SELF-BELIEF. We want someone who has experience of leading teams, of successfully leading school improvement and a secure understanding of nurture and behaviour as communication.

If you are an inspirational leader with the capacity to grow and develop in the role, if you have initiative, enthusiasm, a thorough knowledge of all key stages and the ambition to play a major role in the leadership and management of our school then we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will:
• Model excellent teaching and professional standards for the whole school community;
• Promote and model the schools’ values and vision including infusing honesty and integrity into all of school life;
• Be diligent and a trusted professional and public servant;
• Develop high quality professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and Governors;
• Create a stimulating, supportive, organised, interactive and informative learning environment;
• Have good interpersonal skills and understand the importance of well-being and positive relationships.
