Location: Flexible to meet the demands of the service, but initially the post is based covering East Salford, Swinton and Pendlebury

The aim of Neighbourhood Management is to play a leading role working with a full range or partners and the community to co-ordinate work and shape the future of the neighbourhood. We now have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to undertake a Neighbourhood Development Officer role.
As one of 4 neighbourhood officers supporting our 8 neighbourhood areas the successful candidate will support the neighbourhood manager in developing and sustaining local partnership structures that bring about successful models of local service co-operation, joint working and service delivery.
The successful candidate will be required to chair/ lead in a multi-agency environment and needs to demonstrate that they have a proven track record in working with, engagement with and developing the community. The post holder will also possess strong influencing skills and an ability to think creatively.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person with a proven ability to deliver outcomes. You will be expected to adopt a flexible and problem-solving approach to work to deliver quick and sustainable resolutions to problems being experienced in the neighbourhood.

The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £11.00 per month.
