About the role
Citywide Services are a key component of the Operational Division within the Place Directorate which has responsibility for key front-line services across the City.

As Citywide Service Manager, you will have full responsibility for the School Meals, Building Cleaning and associated services giving you a unique opportunity to shape these services moving forward. This is a significant service area with approximately 650 customer facing front line staff, providing essential services to the community and a budget of approximately £10 million per annum.

We are looking for an experienced operator with a significant and relevant operational background who can secure and expand our business moving forward as we reach a crucial point in our service development. Commercially aware and innovative in your approach you will have detailed knowledge of the current state of the market and an eye for opportunities for us to expand into where relevant. We are also looking for a candidate who can bring marketing expertise/business acumen to our Commercial Catering element of the business and help us to secure and grow our current venues and their income streams moving forward.
