Do you want to be part of a creative forward-thinking service that involves everyone in innovation and new, exciting ways of working?

Salford is graded Good by Ofsted at their last inspection and we are working towards becoming outstanding and is committed to the delivery and development of early help across the City.

Salford Early Help Service is a service at the heart of the Local Authorities’ commitment to support families in the early stages, preventing their needs escalating to a higher level. We are committed to working with families in an asset-based way, using the Salford Family Partnership as our underpinning model of relational practice.

As the Service Manger you will have strategic responsibility for the management of the Early Help Service, early help teams and early help performance as well as leading and developing innovative practices within the Early Help Service, with a focus on improving outcomes for children, young people and families. Partnership working is essential to the success of this and your role as the Service Manager will include supporting the strategic and operational development of neighbourhood/place base working across Salford and across the partnership.

This role is crucial in supporting continuing our journey in the implementation of the Family Partnership Model of practice, and to continue to improve outcomes for children and families in Salford. You will need to be passionate about working with children, young people and families and have a practice base with strengths in relational practice.
