Do you have a strong background in administration?
This is an exciting opportunity to join Member Services for a 10 to 12 month contract initially covering maternity leave.
We are looking for an administration professional to provide an effective, efficient and bespoke administrative support service to Lead Members, the Ceremonial Mayor and Elected Members of the City Council and ensure that all information is managed as appropriate with due regard for confidentiality and sensitivity.
You will also help to support Councillors in the various roles through member support, development and training initiatives.
The wider team consists of Committee Services and Electoral Services, you will be expected to play an active role in the team to ensure that the office is well staffed and good customer service is maintained at all times. There is an element of cross working and support across the teams, and it is anticipated that you will play a part in ensuring this ethos continues.
