Opportunities have arisen for social work practitioner’s across the Integrated Care Team's in Salford. There are permanent and temporary posts currently available

This is an exciting opportunity for a professionally qualified social worker to move into a post within an integrated care team. The team's aim to promote the health, independence and wellbeing of patients, service users and carers through an integrated approach; working in close partnership with district nurses, and other disciplines.

The teams are also currently involved in piloting new assessment methods in social work and this will shape the way social work is delivered in Salford going forward.

Salford Care Organisation is committed to supporting the recruitment and retention of its Social Work staff. It is recognised by the Trust that many experienced Social Work staff are currently likely to be employed by local government organisations, and to ensure there is clarity over terms and conditions of employment we offer NJC Pay Scales to Social Workers we appoint, rather than NHS pay-scales. Please see the document below for further details.

In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership. However, as members of ethnicity minority groups and individuals with disabilities are currently under-represented at this level of post, we would encourage applications from members of these groups. Appointment will be based on merit alone.
