EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE PHASE LEADER AND RECEPTION TEACHER
THIS POST CARRIES A TLR 2 RESPONSIBILITY

To start April 2018

The governors are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced teacher who can demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ experience in primary teaching. An individual who is creative and enthusiastic to join this happy and successful school and work within our leadership team. They will be teaching in the Reception class and as EYFS lead, will have the responsibility for teaching and learning, assessment and outcomes across our EYFS.

We require an EYFS Phase Leader who:
 Is an outstanding classroom practitioner who is keen to gain middle leadership experience.
 Has evidence of having a measurable impact in their class teacher role.
 Has experience of teaching in the Early Years/Foundation Stage.
 Values a teamwork approach.
 Has high standards and expectations in all areas of school life.
 Is committed to raising pupil achievement.
 Has an excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment systems.

At our last inspection, the provision and leadership in the EYFS was judged as ‘good’ and we want someone with the vision and skills to further build on our success and aspire towards shaping an outstanding EYFS.
