An exciting opportunity has become available to join the support team for the Salford Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB) as a Performance and Quality Assurance Officer. The SSAB is a strong, committed multi-agency board that oversee the implementation of effective safeguarding adults arrangements in Salford. The board's vision is that all partners are committed to working together so that every adult in Salford has an opportunity to live their life without the risk of harm and abuse.

About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has good interpersonal and communication skills to undertake work on behalf of the Safeguarding Adults Board.

Your style and approach will reflect our values: you will be passionate about what you do always striving to improve things; valuing and respecting others’ contribution, you will work together to deliver a better service; you will take pride in always getting things right first time and learn from when things do go wrong; you will enjoy taking personal responsibility to resolve issues and change what you do and how you do it to make a difference.

About the role
You will be part of the support team for the Board and work alongside the Business Manager, Training and Development Officer and Senior Administrator.
