Working Hours: 36 hours per week
Grade: 4B £35,229 - £38,052
Contract Type: Permanent

The QA team makes a vital contribution to service implementation and innovation. The QA programme is focused on workforce development to drive improved outcomes for children. This is an exciting period of transformation in Salford which you will be part of shaping.

As Quality Assurance Officer you will carry out quality assurance activities of social work and social care practice and service delivery. This involves evaluating outcomes for children and young people in Salford’s Children Services including identifying best practice and areas for improvement.

You will have a central role in supporting operational teams to work with some of the city’s most vulnerable children and young people. This will involve working with operational teams on thematic issues to improve the experiences for children and families who receive services from children’s social care.

You will also support and lead activities that transfer the learning from quality assurance into practice, service delivery and the engagement of people in Salford.
