Salford Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is looking for a number of talented practitioners to enhance our innovative and supportive team.

Salford EPS has an influential role in the development and implementation of council policy and strategy and is highly valued. The service is a successful partially traded service that has a range of contracts and commissioners. Salford has a partnership arrangement with Tameside and Bury; there are opportunities to work across areas.
Salford Educational Psychology Service has good relationships with children and young people, families, schools and services that we support. Educational Psychologists are encouraged to apply psychology creatively in order to contribute to Salford City Council priority areas.

About you

(Educational Psychologist) You will be a qualified Educational Psychologist that is committed to offer the highest of quality service to Salford children and young people, families, schools, services and the local authority. You will have an ability to apply psychology creatively in order to maximise impact and contribute to Salford City Council priority areas. You will be dynamic and hardworking with the ability to work both independently and part of a team. You will be a good generalists in the first instance with interests and experiences from a range of areas. You will be a fully qualified and HCPC registered Educational Psychologists (we welcome applicants in training due to qualify in September 2021). You will need to possess a Driving Licence and your own transport 
 
About the role
The role of the Educational Psychologist is to manage the Psychological needs of a network of schools, contribute to statutory processes and manage their contribution to a number of other projects and commissions allocated. All Psychologists are expected to contribute to CDP and service development as well as support the strategic direction of the council.
