Youth Offending Service Victim Worker


Grade: 3A, Scp 26-29 (£23'866 - £26'470)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent


Salford Youth Offending Service is accredited by the Restorative Justice Council for its work with the victims and communities effective by youth crime and anti-social behaviour.

Following the retirement of our Victim Worker, Salford Youth Offending Service is seeking to recruit a new member of staff for this important post.

The Victim Worker will be required to meet with victims, members of the community and young people and their carers/families. In addition to liaising with a range of organisations and maintaining comprehensive records.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to display empathy and constructively challenge unacceptable behaviour. Plus be willing to learn and benefit from accredited training opportunities.
