Salford Early Help Services is a newly established and developing service; it is a service at the heart of the local authorities’ commitment to support families in the early stages, preventing their needs escalating to a higher level.

The role is crucial in supporting families particularly those with multiple complex needs, you will be supporting families in an asset based approach, enabling and empowering the families to make sustained robust changes, thus improved outcomes for children and families.

Our early help practitioners will work with families from conception to teenage years, you will work from our Early Help Locality Hub in Broughton. The hub include resources such as Children centres offering the Salford Early Years Delivery Model and family support services working with families in the home and community in an asset based way ensuring positive outcomes.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check – currently £44.00.  The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £11.00 per month.  If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £44.00.
