About us
Salford Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is looking for a number of talented practitioners to enhance our innovative and supportive team.

Salford EPS has an influential role in the development and implementation of council policy and strategy and is highly valued. The service is a successful partially traded service that has a range of contracts and commissioners. Salford has a partnership arrangement with Tameside and there are opportunities to work across both areas. We have good links with neighbouring Local Authorities, providing opportunities for joint development sessions.

Salford Educational Psychology Service has good relationships with the children and young people, families, schools and services that we support. Educational Psychologists are encouraged to apply psychology creatively in order to contribute to Salford City Council priority areas.

We are looking for:
• Educational Psychologists that are committed to offer the highest of quality service to Salford children and young people, families, schools, services and the local authority
• an ability to apply psychology creatively in order to maximise impact and contribute to Salford City Council priority areas
• dynamic and hardworking team players that are able to work both independently and part of a team
• psychologists that are good generalists in the first instance with interests and experiences from a range of areas
• fully qualified and HCPC registered Educational Psychologists but we welcome applicants in training

The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £11.00 per month.
