Springwood Primary School are seeking to employ an experienced ICT Technician to ensure the ICT infrastructure within Springwood School runs efficiently and effectively over the two sites.
Springwood is a large Primary Special School catering for up to 300 pupils with profound, complex and challenging needs over two sites. An enthusiastic, organised and motivated person is required to proactively maintain all software networks and communication systems including all apple devises, PCs, laptops, telephones, photocopying devices and will ensure the network operating systems, components and attached devices are kept up to date with latest, tested patches and oversee the maintenance of the same where required.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in the smooth running and coordination of all ICT services and will be expected to ensure all aspects of ICT maintenance, development and disposal is undertaken in line with the relevant legislation such as the GDPR, Data Protection Act and Computer Misuse Act. They will also oversee the school’s communication systems by proactively updating the school’s social media pages and website pages.
