Early Support Key Worker (SEND 0-5) – Early Help

Grade: 3A - £25,481 - £27,741
Working Hours: 36 per week
Location: -City Wide
Contract Type:  FTC (31st March 2023) - All year round

Look no further, we are also looking for you….

We are seeking a creative, imaginative, child-centred person with good communication skills to join the Early Support Key Worker Team. This is a well-established part of the city’s early help offer for children (under 5) with identified complex disabilities.

You will offer a key worker service to families of children aged 5 and under who have a disability, using the Early Support and Family Partnership approaches and materials to provide a holistic and multi-disciplinary partnership package of support (including coordinating and chairing family focused meetings). This can include supporting families who have a child with a life limiting condition and include end of life support packages.

You will need to be an organised and compassionate professional who will act as a single point of contact to enable families to have easy access to information, support, and services to meet their needs.

You will possess a minimum level three (or above) qualification in a relevant field (such as early years, education, social care, or health).

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check – currently £44.00. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £11.00 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £44.00.
