The Governors of Broadoak Primary School are looking for applications from imaginative and enthusiastic applicants, who will work alongside the Headteacher to maintain and build upon the school’s high standards.

Broadoak Primary School educates nearly 500 children and has a 60 place full-time Nursery. We converted to Academy status in 2011 and achieved Ofsted Outstanding in 2009. We wish to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who has vision, ambition and a range of teaching and leadership experiences. The appointed candidate will need to lead a strong staff team to maintain the highest standards of education, alongside excellent pastoral care for all children.

Located in Swinton, Broadoak Primary is a heavily over subscribed school, that has excellent facilities, including extensive grounds that drive a commitment to outdoor learning. As an educational team we have track record for achieving high levels of educational attainment from our pupils and put our children at the very centre of our aims. We provide a stimulating environment in which our children feel secure and happy.

We wish to appoint someone who:
• Has a desire to uphold and actively promote the schools vision and values
• Is an excellent classroom teacher who has the skill to guide and positively impact upon the quality of teaching and learning within the school
• Can continue to meet the high standards achieved by the school and is committed to continuous improvement
• Is an excellent communicator who works well as part of a team
• Has proven experience within school leadership
