If you are an experienced Foundation Stage Teacher, with a flair for leadership who is looking for a new role of Foundation Stage Leader, then we are the school for you!

During the academic year 2017-18 this post is likely to be a 0.5 teaching commitment in a Reception class. There would be an expectation that during this period the post-holder will contribute significantly to developing assessment systems across school alongside leading and managing the EYFS phase and working as an integral part of the Senior Management Team.

The Governors are looking for someone who:
• is an enthusiastic and motivated Early Years Practitioner.
• can play a key role in the leadership team, leading an area of responsibility across the whole school.
• has high expectations in all areas of children's learning.
• is an inspiring teacher who will lead our FS team, which consists of a 39 FTE place Nursery and three Reception classes with 90 children in total.
• will be able to liaise closely and effectively with Key Stage One and the Key Stage One Leader.
• can lead innovation and originality in creating learning opportunities, with a particular emphasis on developing our outdoor environment & continuous provision.
• is able to monitor and report on standards in order to then initiate improvement.
• can work with parents and the wider school community to provide the very best support for all of our children.
• team work and a commitment to learning through discovery will be necessary.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
