We have a culture of strong partnership working in Salford and a recent peer review of our safeguarding arrangements evidenced our good impact and areas for us to strengthen in order to be outstanding in our partnership arrangements.
An excellent opportunity has arisen to lead the SSCP business unit and be responsible for ensuring that the impact of the SSCP arrangements improve outcomes for children in Salford.
This is a full time role and will be based at Beacon Centre in Salford with a virtual blended approach to practice, supporting flexible working arrangements.
The key elements of the role:
• To lead the day to day impact of the Partnership and strategic prioritises, ensuring the Partnership arrangements are effectively executed to evidence impact upon outcomes for children and families
• To form, build and maintain excellent working relationships with partners, elected members and the executive group of the Partnership, managing sensitive matters and facilitating a child centred approach.
• To advise, chair and inform case reviews, with a strong focus and ability to bring to life the lived experience of children, families and the community in Salford. Offering a sound approach to understanding the impact of multi-agency practice and how this can be strengthened through the partnership arrangements.
• To inform and write relevant policies and procedures that are centred on impact for children, families and the community in Salford, leading multi-agency working groups effectively.
• To implement and evaluate the impact of the Safeguarding Effectiveness Framework, providing an expert level of practice knowledge and experience within the safeguarding arena.
