Part of the Chatsworth Multi Academy Trust, Chatsworth High School and Community College is an outstanding special school for pupils aged 11 – 19 years located in Eccles, which serves children and young people with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism, who live in the area. 
 
An opportunity has arisen for a high quality, deeply committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team to support the learning of pupils with visual impairments. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant, who is able to support a pupil with a severe visual impairment and additional learning needs. 
 
The successful candidate will be: 
 
• A dedicated and skilled professional with a clear pupil-centred focus 
• Aspirational and highly committed to improving the learning attainments and lives of pupils with special educational needs including vision impairment. 
• Experienced in working with pupils with special educational needs. 
• A robust and resilient practitioner able to perform in a dynamic and challenging environment. 
• Passionate about learning more about vision impairment and how to support pupils with sight loss.
