Class Teacher (Early Years / KS1)
 (REQUIRED FOR SEPTEMBER 2018)

Contract Type:  Fixed Term (1 Year)

The Governors of Broadoak Primary School are seeking to appoint a dedicated, outstanding Class Teacher. The successful candidate will work within either Early Years or Key Stage One, dependent on experience and will be required to maintain the school’s high standards of academic achievement, alongside excellent pastoral care.
(Applications from NQTs or experienced teachers are welcome)

We wish to appoint someone who:

• Is an excellent classroom teacher with high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
• Has a desire to uphold and actively promote the schools vision and values
• Has excellent subject knowledge
• Is professional, self-motivated and an excellent communicator, who works well as part of a team

We wish to appoint someone who will:

• Successfully work in a year group team
• Have a passion for planning learning that is exciting and engaging and that allows children to develop a life-long love of learning
• Enthuse and motivate children to learn and progress to their full potential
• Work successfully as part of a team and be committed to participating in all aspects of school life
