Assistant Headteacher with EYFS Lead– Required for September 2021

The Governors of Willow Tree Primary School are looking to appoint an outstanding EYFS class teacher who will have the responsibility of leading our EYFS provision to start in September 2021. The successful candidate must have experience of teaching EYFS, be able to demonstrate excellent understanding of the Early Years Curriculum and demonstrate strong leadership skills.

In this role, you will be managing the progression of the EYFS: leading curriculum and pupil developments and sharing creative and inspirational ideas in order to guide staff to outstanding professional practice.

Working closely with the school Senior Leadership Team in this role, you will also be expected to contribute to school developments and lead by example.

We are looking for:
An innovative, experienced teacher ready for a more senior role, or a current dedicated EYFS Leader who is looking for a new experience and opportunity to raise EYFS standards.
A proven track record of outstanding teaching and an excellent understanding of the Early Years Curriculum.
The ability to forge excellent relationships with colleagues, parents and most importantly, our children and put them at the heart of everything they do.
A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
Have a creative vision to ensure inspiring and motivating lessons are developed.
An excellent role model for staff and pupils and a source of inspiration
Show evidence of the successful implementation of change
