Children and Families Support Officer
Working Hours: 36 hours per week, term time only
Grade: 3B £22,398 - £24,585

The successful candidate will work with our vulnerable pupils to ensure that they have the support and care they need to succeed in their education, the wider community and in the future. This will involve working with other agencies including social care. They will be expected to write reports, referrals and attend meetings on behalf of the Westwood Park Primary School.

There will also be opportunities for 1:1 work, small group sessions with pupils and parents. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. This is a very dynamic and flexible role responding to the needs of the pupils and their family/carers on roll at Westwood Park Primary School.
Attendance is a priority at Westwood Park Primary School and the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily running of the Walking Bus which requires a start time of 8.00am.

• The successful candidate will need to hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle at all times.
• The daily start time for this post is 8.00am (there is no flexibility with this start time).
• Lunch will either be taken at 11.30am to 12.00 or 1.00pm to 1.30pm

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.
