Working Hours: 32.5 hours per week term time only + 5 INSET days
Actual Salary: £14,718.22 + SNA £555.07

New Park Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Teaching Assistant to work and support our young people on their transition/re-integration into a specific mainstream high school (KS3).

You should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team, having experience of working with KS2 or KS3 pupils. You will be able to demonstrate skills in relating to young people who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties. You will be able to share how you deal with pupils in a calm but firm manner in the appropriate settings, how you support pupils in small groups or on a one to one basis, both in school and off-site, ensuring that every student is making progress in line with their ability. You will ideally have a wealth of experience of working with pupils who can demonstrate challenging behaviours either in a special school or mainstream environment.

The suitable candidate must have their own transport, be willing to transport pupils to and from school and other educational establishments and have business use for their own vehicle.
