About us
Springwood is a large primary age Special School with currently 282 pupils on roll. Pupils are aged 3-11, based over two sites (Swinton and Irlam). The school caters for pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs and also pupils on the Autistic Spectrum.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a large and lively school and be part of its future developments. The school was inspected in January 2019 and was judged to be Good in all areas.
About you
We are seeking to appoint a professional, well organised and reliable Receptionist to work at our Swinton school site. The successful applicant will be to be the first point of contact to all visitors ensuring that a good impression is presented that represents the schools ethos. As part of the office team you will provide general receptionist and administrative support to the Senior Leadership, staff and pupils of the school.
You must have a polite telephone manner and be able to deal sensitively with a range of young children, parents, staff and outside agencies.
You must be able to demonstrate good clerical skills and be able to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of our small team.
You must be able to work under pressure and prioritise duties, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately to a high standard.
