We are looking for applicants that have good communication and organisational skills and can meet the high standards of food delivery required. Kitchen experience is essential and the possession of Level 1/2 Catering qualification would be desirable. If however, you do not hold this qualification and are willing to work towards achieving it, this is something that can be offered to you whilst undertaking the role.
About the role
Due to the expansion of the centre we are now seeking to recruit an additional chef to join our team, providing healthy nutritional meals for both young people and staff. You will be required to work shifts between the hours of 8am and 7pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 6pm Sunday on a rota basis. The hours of work are 36 per week averaged over a four week rota. There will also be the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification if one is not already held.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check – currently £44.00. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £11.00 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £44.00
