Grade 2C scp 22-25 £16,017 to £17,566

Term time only plus 5 additional days

Permanent contract, 32.5 hours per week


We are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join the Learning Support Service, as part of the Cognition and Learning team, working with young children and young people with special educational needs.


This is an exciting opportunity to join our newly restructured service of teachers, teaching assistants, mobility officers and associated health professionals who support learners with SEN in schools across the City.


Based at Moorside High School, our TAs work as part of this team, visiting children and young people with a identified Special educational needs in schools and settings across Salford to support them, their teachers and TAs to ensure that they receive a high quality education.


The successful candidate should be an outstanding practitioner experience of working with, and supporting, children and young people with additional needs. They will be expected to work with a fluctuating caseload across Salford, work with specialist teachers to offer assessment and advice, and provide some direct support, across a range of ages and schools.


The successful candidate will join a team of highly motivated and experienced professionals dedicated to providing excellent support to children, young people and schools.
