We currently have an exciting vacancy within our team for a dedicated and experienced  individual to undertake a Communities & Engagement Strategic Lead role to enable us to continue to build on our success and also bring new experience, knowledge and ideas into the team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual with a proven ability to deliver proactive and coordinated communication and engagement activity to support the delivery of high-profile major infrastructure projects across the city.

You will be expected to adopt a flexible and problem-solving approach and be able to respond promptly to changing situations using personal initiative. You will also possess an understanding of community and stakeholder engagement best practice, and of the requirements related to public consultation.

About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing and negotiating with a range of internal and external stakeholders working with design engineers to establish appropriate project communications and project specific consultation and engagement approaches to support the delivery of high-profile infrastructure projects, alongside the city’s highway’s maintenance programme.
