Hours: 27.5 hours per week (term time only)

Contract Type: Fixed term until to 29.11.2018

This is a fixed term contract to support a child with an EHCP in need of 1:1/small group/whole class support.  The position will be fixed for the duration of the child’s attendance at the school.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant with the desired skill set to support a child with special educational needs.  The child has diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, therefore experiences a range of significant barriers to learning and success in the classroom and wider school environment, relating to his ASD.  These key skills would include a working knowledge of autism friendly approaches which support children experiencing difficulties in social, emotional and mental health; communication and interaction; sensory/physical and cognition and learning.  The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to creating and developing an inclusive learning environment for pupils with additional needs.
